Australia is an island within itself and far away from any other neighboring countries. We have very strict limitations on what you can and can’t bring in to Australia.

Quarantine known as DAFF (Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry) protect our borders from any unwanted bugs, pests, exotic animals or plants that may be carried through our borders with potential risk to our flora and fauna habitats. Treatment or destruction of prohibited goods could be costly to be dealt with at Australia’s borders. Customs prevent prohibited articles and illegal substances from entering into Australia. Customs protect Australia’s borders from illicit articles such as; drugs, guns, tobacco. Furthermore, importers who provide false or misleading declarations in an attempt to avoid the applicable Duty & Taxes are also targeted. Be sure that you Declare or Beware!
